Story

Utsuwa is not just a "thing"
It is alive in our lives.
You can use it to store flowers, look forward to tea time, or be soothed by the texture it feels in your palm.
The accumulation of such insignificant memories enriches the soul.

Rather than consuming large amounts, we
" Cherish the things you love and live together for a long time "
I would like to support this choice.

Little cares about
An experience that goes beyond the "thing" itself.
By experiencing the wonders of clay born from nature and pottery, your perspective and way of thinking will gradually broaden.

——

It is an opportunity to be kind to others and a time to develop the sensitivity to receive kindness.
We believe that it is this imagination, sensitivity, and interaction that enriches life and brightens society.

Landscapes created by nature and various people

A pottery atelier in a corner of Tokyo.
Outside the window, I can see leaves swaying in the sunlight and birds smiling.

In a world where there is an abundance of things and they are thrown away in a short period of time, is there any point in creating things that invades natural resources?
The life of an object depends on the people who deal with natural resources,
You'll meet the creators, the people who share it, and the people who receive it. Perhaps it will pass through the hands of someone who will repair it or dispose of it. During that journey, you might even create some small memories.

I hope that by experiencing handicrafts, I can feel the life of an object and think about the heart behind it.

A comfortable life with space

The Nordic countries I traveled to helped me reset my mind.
Their attitude of valuing their daily lives and their mindset seems to teach us how to live a relaxed and cheerful life.
Favorite flowers, tea time, silly conversations - everyday things like that can be ways to make yourself and others feel comfortable.

Sharing affection

When you resonate with the heart behind the object,
How much love we can feel. If we can cultivate our sensitivity to each other,
What a sense of hopeful abundance!

Above all, I would be happy to share the love that goes deeper than the value of material things, and the joy of having them in your life for a long time.
